The peripheral drive sludge scraper is powered by a drive wheel around the tank, ensuring smooth operation and even force distribution, making it suitable for large-diameter circular sedimentation tanks. The Center Drive Sludge Scraper is the core sludge removal equipment for circular sedimentation tanks, thickeners, and clarifiers. The drive unit installed at the tank center rotates the truss structure, enabling the bottom scraper blades to gradually collect settled sludge into the central sludge hopper, while surface scum is collected by the skimmer into the scum trough. Our equipment features modular design, compact structure, smooth operation, and easy maintenance. Widely used in primary and secondary sedimentation tanks in municipal WWTPs, as well as sedimentation and thickening processes in industrial wastewater treatment.

  • Drive Unit: Located at the tank center, consisting of gear motor, worm gear reducer, and slewing bearing, providing high torque transmission and smooth operation.
  • Bridge: Hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel truss structure spanning the tank diameter, serving as an access walkway while supporting the drive unit.
  • Scraper Arms: Symmetrically arranged arms connected to the center column, available in single-arm, double-arm, or multi-arm designs based on tank diameter.
• ②Adjustable Scraper Blades
  • Scraper Blade Material: Standard rubber blades, wear-resistant and non-damaging to the tank bottom; optional stainless steel blades.
  • Height Adjustable: Adjustable connection between blades and arms allows fine-tuning of blade height based on tank bottom flatness, ensuring effective sludge collection.
  • Overload Protection: Blades automatically deflect when encountering hard objects, preventing equipment damage.

  • Skimmer: Installed on the scraper arms, rotates to collect surface scum to the tank periphery, guided by scum baffles to the scum hopper.
  • Flushing Device: Optional water flushing pipe to periodically rinse the scum hopper, preventing clogging.
  • Scum Baffle: Stainless steel baffle, effectively guiding scum into the scum trough.
